President Obama, after thee town meetings and three requests for our input, why won't you answer this question:
"With over 1 out of 30 Americans controlled by the penal system, why not legalize, control, and tax marijuana to change the failed war on drugs into a money making, money saving boost to the economy? Do we really need that many victimless criminals?"

  1. Not too big on criticism, eh?

Subject: OBAMA: Whiners and crybabies say NO to Legalizing Marijuana

    Greetings,

So much of my time this week has been taken up with trying to illuminate Obama's predicament and our reactions. Please forgive me for any impatience that I have or will express, I am only human. For myself I have been astounded by the great good fortune we now share from what this administration has done and I expect that we will shortly be able to overcome the diabolical persecution that we have endured for so long.

First of all, President Obama has not said no to legalizing marijuana and anyone that says he has is acting in abysmal ignorance of the facts.

Recently, the Church of the Universe sent out a report on the police assisted murder of one of their churchmen. Based on our common experience, just how long would President Obama survive should he directly and overtly legalize marijuana?

Do you really think that the kind of police corruption that we saw in the murder of our Brother in Canada would not be acted out against Obama too?

What has the President actually done in the last month on the marijuana question?

    1. He and his Attorney General have stated that the federal government will not prosecute us for violations of federal law for doing what is legal under state law. I wonder if any of you have any idea what that means to us?

Consider that if Ed Rosenthal or Eddy Lepp had been allowed to argue to the jury that they operated legally under state of California law and regulation - they never would have been convicted. Does that mean anything to you?

Consider that the federal judge in the Lynch case in California - has put off sentencing until after the US Attorney files a motion clarifying for the court, what the current prosecutorial position is vis a vie a medical use defence in federal court.

Consider that Eddy's lawyer has been ordered to ask for a similar ruling from his federal judge.

    2. Apparently the DEA in San Francisco has busted a righteous and legal local medical marijuana dispensary. Those folks are now empowered by President Obama and his Attorney General to argue in court that they operated legally under state law. If those folks can meet that burden of proof, then I predict that the judge will dismiss the charges - or they will win at trial.

    3. The President again - for the 3rd or 4th time since the Campaign ended, put up a question and answer section on a website that is available to all of us. Again, the greatest degree of interest was on the marijuana question. Then, the President overtly referred to those questions at his press conference, laughed, and stated that he did not agree that legalizing marijuana today would be a way to improve the economy.
So, lets see, does any of us agree that legalizing marijuana would be good for the economy?
If the answer is yes, did the President now give us specific instructions on how to go about framing the question in such a way so as to maximize the significance of the evidence we can present to lawmakers? Do you think that the President did not know about the marijuana tax laws that are now being considered in California and Massachusetts when he made that statement? Do you think that the President does not know of Carl Olsen's religious use case in the Supreme Court and the rescheduling case at the 8th Circuit and district court in Iowa?
So, given that the President knows in detail about all of that, what was the significance of his comments at the press conference - public meeting?

I know that you are all sincere, hardworking, committed and terribly affected by the persecution that surrounds us. Since I have been working on these political, social, economic and spiritual issues since 1969 without letup, I have some background to contrast these events against. My impression is that We the People, have, can, must, and will be the only ones to legalize marijuana - because of the longstanding and committed opposition that we face.

See "The Good Sheppard" with Matt Damon for background on this. Skull and Bones was founded by opium smugglers turned bankers who sought young and naive recruits for their diabolical plans to take over the government and run it for their personal profits. Making drugs illegal and profiting from that is what they do. They are the ones that established drug prohibition out of the good labelling and content laws that Congress set up in the early 1900's. They are the ones that supported the secret war in Laos with heroin sales. They are the ones that supported the Contra's with cocaine and marijuana sales. They are the ones that murdered Vince Foster and Admiral Bruda of the Office of Naval Intelligence because those Clinton friends and officials sought to end CIA drug adventures. Who do you think that President Obama is up against and how do you expect him to solve our problems for us, without getting killed for it - before the task is done?

Obama has carefully set us up to make the shot. He is not making the shot for us. If we are not good enough to make the shot, then we are the ones that have lost this game, not him.

It is long past the time that we need to stop whining and snivelling every time we see some government official that will not wipe our butt and heat the bottle for us. We need to feed ourselves and take care of our own shit. When we do that, our little troubles with marijuana prohibition will be at an end.

In the meantime, if we cannot see that our friends are working for us, are setting us up to make winning shots, then we will fail without even getting up off our ass's from the bench and getting into the game.

For the love of Giod, please quit the whining and crying, clear your heads, and get to work making the most out of what Tom Ammiano, the legislatures in Massassachusetts and the guys in Washington have given us.

    One Love revtombrown
